Love at First Bite: Trolls (2016)

Most Romantic Moment #12

Trolls

So I was not a Trolls fan. I did not like them, did not play with them, and did not want to see the movie at all.

Then one day I was at my friend’s house and her daughter was watching it on Netflix. I ended up watching it with her and was surprised with how much I enjoyed it.

The Bergens used to eat Trolls to be happy until King Peppy saved them all and found a new secret place to live. Years in the future, his daughter, Princess Poppy, is now leading the community and has been planning their big celebration honoring the event.

Unfortunately, the event is too spectacular and they are discovered by a Bergen, the former chef to the King. She kidnaps a number of trolls and returns to the palace to get her job back. Meanwhile, Poppy sets off to save her friends, aided by a grouchy troll, Branch.

They meet strange creatures along the way and even make a friend in the most unlikely of places, the castle’s kitchen staff. But will they be able to save their friends? And help the Bergens find happiness?

Most Romantic Moment: Love at First Bite

So Bridget, the scullery maid, has a gigantic crush on the King. She helps Poppy and her friends, so they decide to help her. They give her a makeover and advice as she asks the King out.

They go to a roller rink/pizza parlor. (One thing I can’t understand is how they can be unhappy when they have pizza!)

They have dinner together, and we have the cutest moment ever. Bridget reaches over and consumes as much pizza as she wants, not even thinking she needs to be a certain way on their date or that she should eat less. She just grabs what she wants to eat and in that moment the King falls head over heels in love with her.

Aw!
