Here we are with another top five countdown. Here we have five things I think are fine, but others have told me is strange or weird.

1)I Freakin’ Love Basil

I love basil. I think it is the best smell in the world and would totally buy air freshener of it. I love how it tastes! I love cooking with it! I love it’s color! I love everything about it.

2) I Wear My Clothes in Rotation

modelblackmailfashion

I like to wear my clothes in rotation so that I:

  1. Don’t wear the same thing over and over again
  2. Duplicate the same outfit that week
  3. So everything has a turn.

When I wash my clothes or get new ones they all go in the back. I am only allowed to pick from the first 10 items in the front. This is for all the reasons stated above, but also so the things I’m not wearing get stuck in the front and I can give them away as I am obviously no longer interested in them.

It might be weird to you, but makes perfect sense to me.

3) I Sometimes Sleep on the Floor

WakeUpNoThankYou

So I sleep in strange positions. I lay down like a regular person, but then the next day I’ll be twisted around, facing the opposite direction, etc. Because of this, I can sometimes wake up sore, due to a twisted body. To put everything back in shape, I’ll sleep on the floor. Doing so causes me to sleep like a regular person.

4) I Have to Have My Books Organized by Height

NeverCanHaveTooManyBooks

Everything else can be absolutely messy, except for my books. It’s really a compulsion, how much I have to have them in order from tallest to shortest. It just looks so much nicer that way.

The only exception is, if they are in a series. In that case, size doesn’t matter as much as order.

5) I Like to Eat Out of the Container

Where-To-Find-Hong-Kong-One-Dollar-Chinese-Food

Plates and bowls are nice but I prefer just eating out of the box, tupperware, or container. It’s easier and you don’t get another dish dirty. Besides you eat until you are full, instead of constantly refilling.

Now I don’t usually do this if it’s something I’m sharing, (germs), but if it is something that belongs only to me, I don’t bother with a plate I just eat it.

8) What You Ate Today

Sorry I’m posting so late, I’ll explain more tomorrow.

So I actually didn’t eat that much today. For breakfast/lunch I had honey graham crackers, which are my favorite.

Then later I snacked on popcorn, not that much though.

What I really ate though was pizza margherita.

Pizzaiseternal

It all started on Thursday, when I read the book A Pizza for the Queen, by Nancy F. Castaldo. It is based on a true story when a pizza maker was asked to make a “peasant” pizza for Queen Margherita. In the end he invents a new pizza, naming it after the queen, the famous pizza margherita. After I read that book it was all I could think about. And it is extremely easy to cook.

  1. You need to make pizza dough, in which you should coat with olive oil.
  2. Then put pizza sauce, spaghetti sauce, crushed tomatoes, etc.: whatever on your pizza round.
  3. Cut the mozzarella cheese into thin rounds, and place it on top of the sauce.
  4. Slice the tomatoes and place on top of the cheese.
  5. Cook the pizza according to the dough directions.
  6. When pizza is ready, place washed basil leaves on top.
  7. Serve and enjoy.

I love Pizza

While the pizza was cooking, and I was waiting; I decided to make a basil, tomato, mozzarella cheese salad.

  1. Slice the mozzarella cheese and tomatoes.
  2. Take a platter and place the ingredients in the pattern of cheese, tomato, and basil leaves.
  3. Enjoy!

So that’s it! It was extremely delicious and you should try to make it yourself.

The World’s Greatest Criminal Mind

Walt_Disney_Villains

Day 6) Your Favorite Disney Villain

My absolute favorite Disney villain is:

Ratigan2

Ratigan

The Great Mouse Detective is an animated parody of Sherlock Holmes and has mice instead of people. Instead of Sherlock Holmes, we have Basil (nod to Basil Rathbone who played Sherlock Holmes in the movies) of 221 1/2 Baker Street with his helper Dawson instead of Watson. Basil plays a violin, is a scientist, etc.

His arch-nemesis instead of being Professor Moriority is Ratigan. He is super creepy and pretty awesome for a villain. First of all, he is played by Vincent Price, one of the best horror actors/villains of all time! I love that man.

VincentPrice

In fact Vincent Price, said that doing Ratigan was his favorite role because he had two songs written for him. Both of which are AMAZING! The first song is The World’s Greatest Criminal Mind and Goodbye So Soon. They both show his strength, cunning, sadistic side, etc. My favorite song has to be  The World’s Greatest Criminal Mind.

Now when I say he’s sadistic, he is one crazy dude. He doesn’t like being referrred to as a rat, he wants to be a mouse, and if anyone fails to call him that he sics his killer cat Felicia on them.

While he is an elegant criminal, beneath that cool and charming exterior is fearal beast.

Uber creepy right?

But he’s just one of those criminals that you love to hate and while hate, can help but sort of admire his style.
