The Eye of the Storm

So the Dashwood homestead in Norland Park has reached soap opera levels! For reals, it’s like a Real Housewive or show like that.

Scream-Punch

post-32452-this-is-a-fight-gif-we-are-fig-xWvc

We have the Cold War battle between Fanny and Mrs. Dashwood as Fanny is trying to assert her dominance and ownership of the house.

NotYoursMine

You have Margaret who is hiding out and nowhere to be seen.

Marianne who is just going about her feelings.

HateEverythingthewomen

And poor Elinor is stuck trying to hold everything together.

There is only one thing that keeps the family from going crazy and to work through this tense time. And that is Edward Ferrars.

And who is Mr. Edward Ferrars? He’s Fanny’s brother.

Noooooooooo!!!!!!!

Noooooooooo!!!!!!!

Now I know what you’re thinking, how could the brother of the spawn of Satan be someone you’d want to hang around? Well luckily Edward is NOTHING like his sister.

Double double yay

He is sweet, kind, and adorable. And greatest compliment of all:

“He is unlike Fanny…I love him already.”

According to Jane, Edward wasn’t handsome, but of course Hollywood fixed that.

Edward-Ferrars-mr-edward-ferrarsSense&Sensibility

In Sense and Sensibility (1995) he’s played by Hugh Grant and Sense and Sensibility (2008) he’s played by Dan Stevens.

swoon dreamy

Like Darcy, he is super shy and acts a bit awkward.

But once he gets to know you he feels more comfortable. Now what’s really interesting about the Ferrars family is that the money isn’t entailed!

Say What

I know crazy! But sweet! So when Edward’s father died all the money went to his mother with small portions to his daughter and two sons. If they want more they have to cater to their mom. Now Edward is the eldest so a lot is expected of him. Fanny and his mom want him to be in Parliament. But unfortunately for them, Edward isn’t like that. He has a gentle heart and demeanor and wants to have a quiet and private life. He really doesn’t desire huge things, material goods, power, etc.

heartguideyou

Yep Edward is the eye of the storm. The calming factor in all that is Fanny.

Just Can’t Get a Break

So Mary just can not get a break. I’ve mentioned before:

Parody of the none for Gretchen Weiners meme

Well it gets worse.

So Mrs. Bennet has been freaking out about meeting Mr. Bingley, but Mr. Bennet hasn’t done so. She is extremely out of sorts, having palpatations, etc. Mr. Bennet is amused and turns to Mary and tells her:

“What say you, Mary? For you are a young lady of deep reflection, I know, ad read great books and make extracts.”

Of course the only time she is asked for her opinion, nothing can come to mind.

“Mary wished to say something sensible, but knew not how.”

Gee dad thanks for putting me on the spot.

UHHHHHHHH!!!!

UHHHHHHHH!!!!

Then of course her dad skips over her and moves on to something else.

Poor girl, I hate it when that happens. It’s like your mind has a total brain fart and you can’t think of anything, your mind is just blank.

Bye thoughts

Bye thoughts

And then Mary comes off horribly.

Poor, poor, poor girl. I mean she’s just as bad as Leonardo Dicaprio

Pizza Delivery

That Pizza Box is referring to him

That Pizza Box is referring to him

So a few weeks ago I graduated from college.

Graduation

[Yay me!]

I had to be at school by 8 as the ceremony started at 9. So I was up by like 6 something so I’d have enough time to get ready. Later that evening I was so tired; and my period had come, so needless to say I was hungry and wanted food, but wanted it now, and I really didn’t want to get up and do anything. So I turned to the only thing I could do:

Pizza Delivery Sabrina the teenage witch

So I looked around online and the only pizza place that delivered at a good price was Dominos. It was pretty easy and sweet. While I was filling out the form, this came to mind.

Now you see this stuff all over tumblr and pinterest about how people request certain things and the pizza places actually deliver.

Couldn't resist

Couldn’t resist

Anyways, so I thought I would try it out and see what happens. So under special requests I told them

Tell me I’m pretty.

So then I sat back to wait. And I have to say the pizza trackers they have are awesome. They have a baseball one, romance novel, etc. The one I chose, [of course] was the heavy metal one.

Domino'spizzatracker

It was awesome how it would be like

Yeah, your pizza is in the Oven-en-en!!

It was pretty sweet.

So the delivery guy who came was so sweet. He was so cute how awkward he was.

awkward

You could tell he was unsure about giving me the comment as he didn’t want to be awkward, but it was awkdorable.

You're so cute

I paid him and gave him a great tip so that he wouldn’t feel too awkward.

I then sat down and enjoyed my pizza. I decided that I’m totally going to do that again, and ask for them to do different things, but nothing too over the top or horrible.Haha now the real fun begins. 🙂

I love Pizza

I love Pizza
