These Shoes Were Made for Walking

I like shoes. I didn’t used to but as I grew older I appreciated and collected more. So you all know how I feel about boots.

bootsTwist

I love them, especially cowgirl boots.

But as I have already talked about them, let’s move onto my second favorite type of foot wear. High heels.

cinderella_shoe_gif

Being 5’3, life can be hard.

ShortLittleLegs

One thing that makes it better are high heels. give_a_girl_the_right_shoes_Marilynmonroe_sNot only for their added height, but their beauty and the way they make you look amazing.

WomanwithGoodShoesNeverUglyCocoChanel

They make you look absolutely fabulous.

So my advice ladies:

High

Todays post comes from the Jack Frost Christmas special.

Unknown

In the film Jack Frost falls in love with a beautiful peasant girl. This winter he is given the opportunity to be human and win her heart, sealing the deal to remain human if he gets a home, a horse, and a bag of gold.

This song, Just What I Always Wanted, takes place during the Christmas he spends with the people. Since no one has any money, they just give empty boxes to each other pretending it is their dream gift.

The song is cute, adorable, and incredibly catchy.

Fashionably Postworthy

So a lot of people knock fashion down. They say that caring about how one looks is a waste of time and that one should only think about who they are on the inside. Now while it’s true that real beauty comes from within, you shouldn’t completely knock fashion.

Fashion

It’s true. A cute article of clothing can brighten your day. You can feel more confident, more together, and just all around amazing.

Damn hot confidence Lily HIMYM

And just because you are caring about how you look doesn’t mean you have to buy into the fashions of the day. You wear what you like. No matter what anyone else says.

lookgood

I pretty much only shop at thrift stores and people love my finds. People might not like what you are wearing and call you crazy, but you know what? All people with great ideas are considered crazy at first.

It isn’t until afterwards that we recognize their genius and abilities.

Now the only thing to remember is to be careful when creating your own style that you still wear things appropiate to what you are taking part in.

EmmaDriving

Because you might find yourself in a situation that your clothes just don’t fit right.

But on a whole wear what you want, look good

And always remember that no matter what:

There’s No One Like Gaston

Walt_Disney_Villains

Day 13) You Favorite Villain Song

Gaston

Now I know there are many more scary and mean villian songs, but this one is my favorite. I love Gaston, but let me clarify, I love Gaston like how I love Draco Malfoy. They have some the best lines, they are so egotestical that they are hilarious, and you just know the story would be a snooze-fest without them. Gaston’s song is so awesome because it is so silly, egotestical, manly, and a total laugh riot.

gastonfab

I mean this is like the ultimate pep talk. Next time you have a friend who isn’t doing well, just change the words around and add their name in. They’ll thank you for it. 🙂

Gosh it disturbs me to see you, Gaston
Looking so down in the dumps
Every guy here’d love to be you, Gaston
Even when taking your lumps
There’s no man in town as admired as you
You’re ev’ryone’s favorite guy
Ev’ryone’s awed and inspired by you
And it’s not very hard to see why

No one’s slick as Gaston
No one’s quick as Gaston
No one’s neck’s as incredibly thick as Gaston
For there’s no man in town half as manly
Perfect, a pure paragon
You can ask any Tom, Dick or Stanley
And they’ll tell you whose team they prefer to be on

No one’s been like Gaston
A king pin like Gaston
No one’s got a swell cleft in his chin like Gaston
As a specimen, yes, I’m intimidating
My- what a guy, that Gaston

Give five “hurrahs!”
Give twelve “hip-hips!”
Gaston is the best
And the rest is all drips

No one fights like Gaston
Douses lights like Gaston
In a wrestling match nobody bites like Gaston
For there’s no one as burly and brawny
As you see I’ve got biceps to spare
Not a bit of him’s scraggly or scrawny
(That’s right!)
And ev’ry last inch of me’s covered with hair

No one hits like Gaston
Matches wits like Gaston
In a spitting match nobody spits like Gaston
I’m espcially good at expectorating
(Ptooey!)
Ten points for Gaston!

When I was a lad I ate four dozen eggs
Ev’ry morning to help me get large
And now that I’m grown I eat five dozen eggs
So I’m roughly the size of a barge

rocky

No one shoots like Gaston
Makes those beauts like Gaston
Then goes tromping around wearing boots like Gaston
I use antlers in all of my decorating
Say it again
Who’s a man among men?
And then say it once more
Who’s the hero next door?
Who’s a super success?
Don’t you know? Can’t you guess?
Ask his fans and his five hangers-on
There’s just one guy in town who’s got all of it down
And his name’s G-A-S- T –
G-A-S-T – E –
G-A-S-T-O – oh!

GASTON!!!
