My Teaddiction (Tea Addiction)

So everyone, I have a problem.

I’m an addict.

A teaddict.

Before I would just drink tea when it was cold, snuggling under blankets and curling up with a good book.

Then I started drinking in the mornings when I woke up.

And then I started drinking late afternoon, nightish.

And then one 8-oz cup wasn’t enough. I was drinking multiple cups, and then I was collecting the largest cups I could: pints, beer mugs, nothing was large enough for me.

And I was drinking tea at all hours of the day.

And if I don’t get my tea, the day just doesn’t feel right.

But hey, there are worse things out there that I could be addicted to. After all:

So I’ve decided to just live with my teaddiction and enjoy it.

The Biggest Bill You Should Be Paying

I do have a problem. I can’t stop buying books. Even when I have no room for them.

No matter what arguments I make, I end up taking at least one book home.

But hey, what better thing to spend your money on, right?

Taking in Strays

I have a problem:

I just take in too many strays.

 

That comic pretty much describes my life. You see:

 

They need a home and I am more than willing to open my doors and shelves to them. If you actually tallied up all the money I’ve spent through the years on books, it would be thousands of dollars.  Say it loud and say it proud:

Even though I have more than I can read, I buy more and more and more. 😦

I’ve Got a Hangover

Yep, I have some big issues. I’ve got a:

I hate/love it when that happens. You have an amazing book that you just absolutely love and are involved with. You want to get to the end, the conclusion of the story, but at the same time you don’t want it to be over.

When you’re done, it’s like what do I do now?

You kind of stumble around until you find another great book and then the cycle starts all over again. Such is the life of a book lover.
