So you all know that I am a HUGE Star Wars fan.

True story!

And what’s not to like, Star Wars is AWESOME!!!!

Star Wars is a way of life.

So three years have passed since Episode IV: A New Hope in which Luke discovered his father was a Jedi, teamed up with Obi-Wan-Kenobi, and hired smuggler Han Solo to save Princess Leia, (although she really saves herself). They fought the Empire, with Luke ultimately destroying the Death Star

So now the group are on their Rebel base while Darth Vader is actively searching them out. Luke decides to leave for Dagobah to train with Yoda, while Han, Leia, and Chewbacca have escaped the empire, stopping at Cloud City when they have trouble with the ship.

Rebels, Jedi training, fear of who you are, Darth Vader, bounty hunters, carbonite; it is one great adventure.

Most Romantic Moment: You Don’t Have to Say Anything, I Know

I pretty sure you have all figured out which moment I have chosen; it is when Princess Leia tells Han she loves him and he says I know.

So I know a lot of people view it as Han was too masculine to say “I love you” back. I mean he’s a smuggler, space cowboy, always shoots first…

He’s wanted alright. Wanted i MY life.

But to me his “I know,” means more. Not only is he saying I love you, but also telling Leia that he knows, without a doubt she loves him and that she doesn’t have to say more. She doesn’t need to do any big dramatic move, or even try and save him (as he wants her safe), he knows how much she cares. Knew it all along.

Back to the Supernatural

So Supernatural is a pretty great show.

It has awesome writing, great action, and two hunky guys!

Besides the many, many things that are awesome with this show, one thing I love is the film references.

So I’ve mentioned before that one of my favorite episodes is Monster Movie in which Dean and Sam combat classic film monsters.

Well the my other most favorite episode? In the Beginning.

So as you all know one of my favorite films is Back to the Future.

And one of the many, many great scenes is when we see this:

So when they replicated that scene:

I was so excited!

In fact, in my excitement I flipped the table.

And somehow flung my glasses to the other side of the room.

My friend and I both started laughing so hard we couldn’t see or even breathe. It took so long to find them with our laughing, lack of breath, and my blindness; that I started feeling like Velma.

Yep, it was a real experience. But hey, you know us fangirls:

27) Five Ways to Win Your Heart

Now winning a heart is a long, and laborious thing. There is much it involves, but I say this five things put you ahead of everyone else. 🙂

And these are in no particular order.

1) Be a Movie Fan

I’m sure all of you are aware of how much I love movies. And all movies. I watch every genre, from the 1920s to the present time.

So to me it is important that you not only love watching films (I know some people who don’t and I think that is cra-A-zy!), but you have to be appreciative of those made in the past.

Now do we have to feel the same way about every film? No. As long as you are willing to view my favorites with an open mind, I’m good.

Except for Star Wars, if you don’t like that then forget it.

Now in my case as I love films, you know I quote them ALL the time. You don’t have to do it, but you have to love me doing it.

2) Read

I love to read, I read all the time. I love talking about books, I love being with books, and I have a horrible addiction to buying them.

I need someone who is not only able to understand this, but just as obsessed.

3) Listen

I couldn’t find a good picture of listening that I liked so I chose this gif from The Italian Job. Before he kisses her, Charlie listens to everything Stella has to say about her dad. Her anger at him for not quitting his thieving lifestyle; her guilt in not being nicer or having a more loving relationship; and her belief that her father never loved her. Charlie listens to everything and then tells her what her father told him, that he regretted not being a better father to her. He then comforts her, giving her a friendly kiss on the forehead.

I want someone like that, who will sense I’m upset and really listen to everything I’m saying. Not trying to justify it, fix it, but just give comfort in their presence.

4) Get in to the Holiday Spirit

So you all know I love holidays. Every year I do 14 of my favorite Romantic Moments for Valentine’s Day, list of favorite characters that match with the animal from that year’s Chinese New Year, 17 of my favorite Irish characters for Saint Patrick’s Day, my favorite paintings of Christ for Easter, a celebration of May 4th, 31 days of horror films for Halloween, a thankful post for Thanksgiving, and 25 films of Christmas.

I have also done a post in celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. B-day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day, the 4th of July, the day time travel was thought of by Doc Brown, remembering the 5th of November, and Veterans’ Day,

So while you don’t have to be big on the holiday spirit, you do need to be willing to come along for the ride. Whether it is eating heart-shaped pizza, baking soda bread, dying eggs, having a Star Wars marathon, going trick-or-treating, dressing up, watching horror films, baking pies, watching Christmas movies, singing Christmas carols, cutting down a Christmas tree, baking cookies, etc; you need be in the passenger seat of my holiday express train ride.

5) Be a Christian

I’m a Christian, as I have stated before, and I want a Christian guy. My faith is very important to me, and I want someone who understands this. Someone, who when I’m struggling or hurting, will instantly pray for me.

It’s So Random!

15) Five Random Facts

As we are halfway through, it’s time for five random facts about me. Ready? Here we go.

1) I’m a Brown Belt-Black Stripe in Martial Arts

I started training when I was 12 and quickly moved up, becoming a brown/black belt when I was 17. I probably could have been even farther, but didn’t test for two years as I wasn’t confident enough. So yeah, I’m only 5’3, but I could kick your butt.

2) I Hate Birds

I hate birds. I hate them and they hate me. Every time I come upon them, they fly at me in their cages trying to attack me. They gather in trees and watch me. They fly after me in huge packs. Ew, they are evil and trying to kill me. This is probably one of the reasons why I love The Birds, as it fully unleashes how I view the evil winged rats.

3) I was Prom Queen in High School

I tried to run for student government many, but never won. Then when I something I care zip about, Prom Queen, and all the other girls running treated it like it was a matter of life and death, I won. I think it was mostly because I only had two classes to take so I was a teacher’s assistant for six classes and knew lots of students of various ages.

4) Film Quotes is My Second Language

My conversation is just peppered with it. I’ll be talking about something with friends, and pop! Here they come.

Too bad I couldn’t get high school and college credits for it.

5) In Football I was Known as “The Beast”

I didn’t play football for my school’s team, I only just played with my guy friends. I was nicknamed the beast because I wasn’t afraid to knock people down. I had bad aim, and couldn’t always judge the right spot for catching, but I was great at defense. People were afraid to see me coming, but also afraid to knock me down as they didn’t want to hurt a girl. Perfect win for me.

Some of the Best Lines Ever!

Now we all have film quotes we like to say over and over.

And one of my personal favorites is:

Hands down this is one of the best lines in the entire film. And every time you repeat them, you know you have to do them in his accent.

I just love him and this movie so much.

AFI has a list of the best movie lines, but I think I should create my own.

Hmm…

If I do, this would most definitely be on it.
