Teapot Card with Teabag

I’m always doing crafts at work or with my nieces, and after sharing a couple of crafts last year, I though it would be cute to share this one as well.

Do you love tea and have friends who love tea? I do and sending them a cute little tea card is a lot of fun, and something adults or kids can enjoy making too.

Supplies:

  • Colorful Paper (Scrapbook Paper works best)
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • A Teabag
  • Pen or markers (optional)

Directions:

  1. Print out the template.
  2. Cut it out and decorate it, or use the template to cut the teapot out of a piece of scrapbook paper.
  3. Glue the pocket on to the teapot, but only on the bottom and side edges. Leave the top edge alone as you want to be able to place the teabag in the pocket.
  4. Write your note on the back.
  5. Place teabag in pocket.
  6. Give away to your tea-riffic friend or family member.

Hope you enjoy!

Earl Grey Infused Blueberry Smoothie

I LOVE tea!

So when I see tea smoothie’s I’m down for that! A while back I made an Earl Grey Blueberry Smoothie, and it was alright. I liked the concept better than the taste and began searching the internet to see if I could find a better version.

This is based on Mid-Life Crossiant‘s recipe, but I did change a bit.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Teabags or 2 Tsp of Loose leaf Earl Grey Tea.
  • 1 Cup of Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon of Oats (I use Quaker Oats)
  • 1 Cup of Frozen Blueberries
  • 1 Cup of Vanilla Greek Yogurt
  • 1 Tablespoon of Maple Syrup

Directions:

  1. Microwave the milk, or warm in a pan.
  2. Steep the tea in the warm milk for 5 mins.
  3. After tea has steeped, allow milk to cool.
  4. When milk has cooled, put in blender.
  5. Add oats, blueberries, yogurt, and maple syrup.
  6. Blend until smooth.
  7. Serve.

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!!

IT WAS SOOOOOOO GOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!

It is one of the best smoothies I have ever, ever, ever had. It was soooo delicious I wished I had more.

Teatime is So Much Better With a Teapot

You all know how much I love tea

It is just one of the best things in the world, at least to me.

Well my tea time just got better…how? I finally got a teapot.

It was a gift, and not exactly what I wanted-but its cute. And it makes teatime so much better.

So pour yourself a cup.

Got Tea?

So I went to make a cup of tea as I love to drink it even in the heat:

As I went to make it I saw:

My tea is almost gone!!!!!

What am I going to do???

I used to go to Teavana, but it closed.

I tried another place, but I didn’t like their loose-leaf tea. I know I could get the bagged type, but loose leaf is so much better. There is a whole ritual to it that is really enjoyable.

I don’t know where I will go to get more but I for sure won’t be giving up my tea time.

Cozy & Comfy Tea Time

So you all know how much I love tea:

In fact for Christmas I got quite a few tea things because my friends and family knew of my love.

But one gift was belated, so I decided to post it separately instead of in my earlier Christmas post. This combines my love of tea and my love of something else that I just adore:

Cats!

So now I can drink my tea and look at this adorable creature. I can’t imagine a better tea time.
